How to convert JPG images into one PDF

Application forms, landlords and accountants often ask for "one PDF", while your phone gives you a pile of photos. Here is how to turn them into a single tidy PDF in a couple of minutes.

JPG to PDFMerge PDFCompress JPG

Step by step

  1. Open JPG to PDF and drop in all the photos at once, or click Select File and pick them together.
  2. Check the list: the PDF follows its order. Remove a photo with the × button, and add more with Add more files.
  3. Click Convert, then Download all and choose One PDF. Each photo becomes one page.

Prefer separate files? Choose the other option and every photo becomes its own PDF, downloaded together in a ZIP.

Get the order right

Name your photos in order before you start (01, 02, 03...) or add them one at a time in the order you want. If you already have several PDFs, put them in any order you like with Merge PDF, which lets you drag files up and down.

Keep the PDF small

A single phone photo can be 3 to 5 MB, so ten of them make a PDF that is too big for most upload forms. Shrink the photos first with Compress JPG: choose how much smaller each one should be and set Resize to Max 1920px. A page of text photographed at that size is still easy to read and usually well under 500 KB.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put several JPGs into one PDF?

Yes. Add them all in JPG to PDF, convert, then choose One PDF when you download. Each photo becomes a page, in the order of the list.

Does the PDF lose quality?

The photos are placed in the PDF as they are. To make the PDF smaller, compress the photos first.

Can I add PNG or HEIC photos too?

Yes: use Image to PDF, which takes PNG, HEIC, WebP and other formats as well.
