How compression works
For a target size the compressor works out the bitrate that fits, lowers the resolution if that bitrate is too low for full HD (for example to 720p or 480p), and encodes the video with H.264 and AAC, the most compatible MP4 format. Quality levels keep a constant quality instead: High quality keeps up to 1080p, Balanced 720p and Smallest file 480p. Long videos need a bigger size to look good; trim them first with the video trimmer.
