How to rotate a PDF

  1. Open your PDF.
  2. In the Pages panel, use the rotate left or rotate right button on each page that is the wrong way round.
  3. Download the PDF; the pages stay rotated for everyone who opens it.

Why pages end up sideways

Scanners and phone cameras often save landscape pages, receipts or ID cards the wrong way round. Rotating them here fixes the file itself, unlike rotating in a PDF viewer, which only changes your view.
