What makes a resume ATS-friendly
- One column, standard section names: Summary, Work Experience, Education, Skills.
- Real text, not text inside pictures; standard fonts such as Helvetica, Times or Roboto.
- No tables or text boxes for important details, and contact details in the main text.
- The same words the job advert uses for skills and job titles.
- A PDF or Word file; these templates download as PDF with real, selectable text.
Check your keywords
