How to write a resume in two minutes
- Type the job you want. For example Registered Nurse, Sales Representative or Student, and choose your experience.
- Add your details. Your name and contact details, tick your skills, and add past jobs and education if you like.
- Write, pick a design and download. Click Write my resume, read the draft, choose a design and open it in the editor to change anything and download the PDF.
How the resume is written
For each of 45 common jobs we wrote the skills recruiters search for and resume lines that describe the work in clear, active language. The builder combines them with your answers, writes a summary that fits your experience level, and lays everything out in the design you choose. Nothing is made up about you: there are no invented numbers or awards, and the draft is a starting point to make your own. Add real results wherever you can, such as "served 60 customers a day" or "cut costs by 10%".

- Use the exact job title and skills from the job advert.
- Choose an ATS-friendly design if you apply through Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo or similar portals.
- Keep it to one page unless you have more than eight years of experience.
